while the servers were down I lost a level I'm confused what happened?

I'm working on AGL in Caniff and the servers would let me back in to finally log in and a PSA go out. Then to realize I got the game level again and I had to start the level Im on now again at the start.

You answered your own question: the servers went down.

When they came back up, they did not contain information from immediately prior to the crash.
