For many hours now I have been trying to find the icon for the "Comand Skeleton Warrior" ability with no luck.

So, therefore, I can not add the ability to my "Action Bar".

Any information would be greatly appreciated as to where that icon might be.

Thank You

It's the same button that you use to conjure the Skeleteon Warrior.
The button turns orange and becomes "Command".

Just add Conjure to your action bar and it will trigger Command automatically once the Skeleton appears.

unfortunately you cannot toggle on/off in settings if you want revolution to use the command or not; for revolution players, if you have your conjured minion on the bar, it will both summon it and command it

with the skeleton warrior that's ok as the command doesn't cost adrenaline and only triggers the global cooldown, but the zombie will explode (probably somewhere where it doesn't even hit a target) very soon after having been called, so you lose a major source of dps; and the ghost command costs 70% adrenaline so you won't have much adren left that would allow the other abilities on your revolution bar to trigger

I tested a few bars and noticed no difference between setting revolution to "basics only" or "basics and thresholds" - when I toggle thresholds off, I'd expect the ghost command to never happen, but it does anyway and costs me my precious adrenaline that I had intended to save up for devotion or barricade to cast manually when a big hit is incoming.

Also, what's a threshold ability by definition? Necro apparently doesn't have any that match the definition. For all other combat styles, a threshold requires you to have 50% adrenaline and then costs 15% of it; an ultimate costs 100% adrenaline if you don't have any extra buffs like ring of vigour, ultimatums perk, certain arch relics or a worn Zuk cape.

Necro abilities each cost different amounts of adrenaline, and they actually cost it, not just require you to have it and then cost less; so quite different from the definition of a threshold. Bloat costs 20%, Conjure Ghost costs 30%, Command Ghost is 70%, Finger of Death costs 60% minus 10% per necrosis stack you can consume...

That calls for a necromancy toggle option in combat settings for revolution users, in a dedicated section under the revolution tab.

Rooh, thank you so much for your post. I kind of thought that was the answer but was unsure. Thank you again.

Berryweather,
When RS3 came on the scene, I had just maxed my skills a week before. All of this new way of combat was frightening - words like action bars, revolution, basic, ultimate, abilities. So much so that I was afraid to encounter bunnies or even rats in combat. After a time (a week or so), I came up with an action bar I thought was ok and attacked those bunnies and rats. They had no chance. Over the years I have refined the bar and am comfortable with my combat skilling (bars). I did not and do not now do bossing.

And now we have Necromancy. For me, arranging an action bar is what I am needing to do. I know that some boss fighting is inevitable but, my main goal is to have an action bar good for most all other encounters. I read all the Necromancy descriptions of "action bar", "ability", "ultimate", "stacks" and "what the hecks" and see numbers, percentages, and "what?". It becomes gibberish after a very short time. One thing I do know - No Ghosts - lol. Thank you for that.

I am now level 118 Necromancy and I have no idea what I'm doing Combat wise (thank you rituals) but now those are nerfed. If ever I can master (understand) the mechanics of each ability and spell I might have a chance - lol.

As with Rooh, Thank You for your post Berryweather

@Attu there is certainly a large part of the player base that focuses other activities over combat

as action bars go, there are many ways to set them up, and it does require a certain amount of thought and reading (and trying to understand) the descriptions of what each ability does and how it might affect other abilities

There's also the option to just ask a friend who does more combat to "share actionbar" with you; this requires you to have an empty actionbar or one that you don't mind overwriting.

The way setting everything up works is a bit different between mobile and computer, but as you said you've been playing for many years and the mobile version is quite recent, I assume you're using a computer.

As a general rule, I would recommend that you have two different revolution bars depending on what you're fighting.

If you fight a single target (like a boss, e.g. Giant Mole or Vindicta), you would prefer to use everything that deals a lot of damage to your opponent. In the abilities overview, if you click an ability, such "single target abilities" have an arrow pointing towards a single large dot in a corner. Examples for melee include assault, slaughter, dismember. Examples for necromancy include touch of death, finger of death, soul sap, volley of souls.

If you want to complete a slayer assignment (as one of the hero pass tasks suggests you should do) and want to kill many targets asap, you want to prioritise abilities that hit several enemies at once. Such "area of effect abilities" or "multi target abilities" have a circle surrounded by 4 little arrows, or 3 arrows pointing towards 3 dots, in a corner in the abilities overview. Examples for melee include hurricane, cleave, quake. Examples for necromancy include soul strike, blood siphon, death skulls.

When you drag-n-drop abilities on your actionbar, they will be used in order from left to right. The leftmost ability will be used first unless it's not possible (e.g. because it is on cooldown).

ONLY if the leftmost ability cannot be used, the 2nd one will be used.

ONLY if the first and 2nd ability in your bar both cannot be used, the 3rd will be used.

Etc.

Therefore it is good to put the stronger abilities further left and the weaker ones further right.
If an ability has certain requirements to be used and you currently don't meet them (e.g. hurricane requires you to have 50% adrenaline, which you might not have at that point), it will be skipped and the next one will be used. Putting stronger abilities first means whenever you DO actually meet their requirements, they WILL be used.
