It just seems like everything rare is going to be rereleased at this point regardless if it was confirmed discontinued or not. I don't know tho.

I would be surprised if jagex rereleased either or both of them in a xmas event. I never liked their artificially inflated price for what they look like, so it is it what it is if they are indeed rereleased. At least it isn't the OG rares being rereleased, now that I would be 100% against.

I have never seen anything from Jagex stating that these items will never be re-released. They made it abundantly clear when they released the Golden Party Hat that no more will be released into the game again. They did not do this with the Black Santa Hat and Holly Wreath.

My speculation is that the Golden Party Hat is the only item currently in RuneScape that will never be re-released. Even the original rares are not safe - after all, there were serious discussions about "bank bidders" in the not-too-distant past.
