Check your computer for trojans, or something downloading a large update. Or contact your ISP to ask why your upload/download speeds have got slower.

All of that is solid advice. Also, check your Task Manager and click the Performance tab. You can see spikes in the CPU usage in real time.

Not at all laggy. Actually I found it far less laggy even with like a hundred of players smashing pumpkins with me. I was able to smash 21 pumpkins in about 3 minutes. I am pretty sure I had problems even move in similar events a year ago... and I have been using Jagex Accounts this year and of course not last year.

My experience is Jagex Accounts is far more optimized and cause less lag.
