Hello everyone,
I want to remind all the Runescape and Old School Runescape players here who are upset with Jagex about closing the Runescape Forums that it does not have to end this way. The Runescape playerbase has more power than they think they do. Remember in 2013 when enough players demanded the creation of Old School Runescape and we got it? Or how about in 2011 when enough players told Jagex that we wanted free trade and wilderness back.
Can we reverse Jagex's decision about closing the Runescape forums? I doubt it because unlike in the two examples that I stated above, we don't have nearly as much pushback as those movements did but I would rather go down trying to save the Runescape Forums than to not try at all. My biggest hope is, assuming that the shutdown of the forums will happen, is that someone will come and create their own fan site forums that look relatively similar to how the official Runescape forums looked but not in an illegal copying these forums too much kind of way.
P.S. Also, I apologize to all of you for my spelling and grammar errors here. I cleaned up the ones I could!
