You can't do it the normal way on the site
If you aren't from the UK it will be declined
The pre paid credit card isn't international
anymore as it used to be.

The only way you can do it now is add your card to your
Google play account log ingame and purchase it from there.! :)

Your welcome jagex. I suggest that you guys should share this somewhere
to let players know this and I also let billing support know as well they didn't even know.
The advise they gave was go to my bank or something but I found out an easier way to make it work out for everyone enjoy :)

if you are not from uk.. if you have Visa(maybe others) all you need to do is call bank and they will allow the payments to go thru.

I know that matercard will NOT let payments go thru.. probably others also. The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

So the pre-paid RS cards still work as they have previously. Good to know.

The thread title is misleading, so thank you for the clarification, Tren.

Personally, I have never had any issues redeeming the pre-paid RS cards via the website. However, finding these cards in the stores has proven to be more difficult recently. When you ask one of these emo kids at Game Stop about RuneScape, they look at you like you just asked about some old game their parents used to play. O_o I've been putting out fire with gasoline! ^_^

I helped some players on my reddit; Aryas31 that was running into the same
Issue as myself and I thought it could have been some use to help others as well.

Aryas, my comment about the prepaid visa and mastercard also covers regular credit cards of same name and bank debit cards of same name.

I thought since you were clarifiying and making sure other people were aware of the issue, I too would clarify my point as well.

Make sure that anyone buying you prepaid cards know to buy visa.

If your eyesight is good enough you can read the fine print on the cards before purchase and i do believe it even tells you that overseas purchases wont be allowed on the mastercard prepaid.

I know the wording between the 2 (visa and mastercard) are different but since I found out mastercard didnt work years ago, i never had the need to look at them again. The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

It doesn't have a fine print on making purchases overseas on the card or the paper.
It came with and I forgot to clarify saying Visa prepaid on the reddit forum.
Someone did ask I did show them a picture of a Visa prepaid gift card.
Idk pre paid Mastercard was a huge issue to use like I discovered Google play on Rs
So I thought that I was like helping the community & Jagex.

Something tells me that I used to run into Tren and you on forums here
a lot back in the day recognizable names it definitely been a long time..
