f2p smithing afk?

so I am looking to smith something for gp and Christmas wrapping paper of course on 5 or so accounts. All the accounts are above 50 smiting.

are there any suggestions? I honestly don't care what I do I just want it to be as afk as possible and I think smithing is most afk skill to get wrapping papers?

I am completely open to another skill which may be mroe afk but I just thought smithign could earn more money except idk what to even smith since last time I trained smithing was 2012 when I got 99 smithing on my main smithing adamant platebodies which were like 9.7k each

any suggestions are welcomes because I really want to hopefully get a snta or phat drop from the presents; I may increase the accs to 8-15 but that's extremely tedious unless I have to click once every 25 mins

If you want to make money smithing F2P the AFK-ish way, you may want to smith ore box and mattocks and such. They sell for pretty decent profits in general, but you need to bank them so it is not as AFK as you can possibly do.

If you want the most effortless AFK way to get wrapping papers F2P, with no banking or movements ever needed, I think the best way is the bland new and in season Santa Village. I am crafting snowballs with my F2P alt there now. All I need to do is click the snow pile every 5 minutes, and see my wrapping papers stockpiling fast. The tradeoff is we get Christmas Spirits good for a lot of F2P cosmetics new and old and no gp rewards.

mining with an orebox is pretty good afk training, and if you REALLY want afk smithing - make plate bodies, that's base 5 bars per item, so it takes a while, even more so when you are doing upgrades

Edit: I recommend having an autoheater (from dungeoneering shop) though, and lots of coal, because it will automatically reset your heat to 30% every time you hit zero, for the cost of 5 coal a reheat. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;

Smelting ores into bars are quite AFK and reasonably profitable for the efforts for RS3 F2P too.

Specifically, smelting steel bars is like over 1 mil gp/hr. It is a far cry from other F2P money making methods upward of 5 mil gp/hr, but it is AFK with absolutely no banking and running around and clicking your fingers off. It is something to be considered for causal and layback F2P players.

Rest assured, if you are more focused on getting wrapping papers with AFK methods and less so on gp, then Santa Village is second to none.
