Does the Lotd Relic gain the passive effects of the Dark facet of luck?

Like, does it retain the ability to skip clue steps, etc.

Or does that only work if you have a ring equipped?

Yes, I think so. The Dark Facet is tied to the character rather than the specific luck item. So long as you're under the influence of T4 luck, I think the DFoL will (should!) apply. At least, that's my understanding of how it works.
