Dead and Burried dim light bug

I'm doing everything i'm supposed to do, getting nightmares low and killing them with the Raptor. However the dim light isn't changing to a Light beam.... Been trying 20 times now...

If you think this is a bug, you should report it in game.
(I've moved your thread to General in case anyone can offer some advice.)

I found something in the Wiki.... are you doing this in a group by any chance?
The Wiki says
"Currently this part is glitched if you are in a group, which will prevent the player from progressing as expected. Simply leaving the group and re-entering the instance will allow progress."
