I don't get why players are buying items for like 20-30% under mid just crashing item after item like money making in this game could actually be fun again if the market didn't stink so much I wish a lot of other prices would rise like the bonds do

Market go up. Market go down.

You are never guaranteed to make money when trading commodities.

And the answer to your puzzle is: because nobody likes being ripped off by merchers.

The RS3 market is completely players driven. If you think the market "stinks" it means either you stink as a market participant compared to the others, or you know of great way to play the market but choose not to.

OP, I guess you also don't know, or willfully ignore, why there are so a lot of items in this totally player driven RS3 market go up so much:

many reasons why prices fall and rise.

if no one is buying people will tend to put a lower price, and then more will and so and so forth.

In case for the likes of OP still don't know how items price behave in a laissez-faire economy as fair as RS3's, I suggest studying Macroeconomic 101.

As Adam Smith told us, regardless how many stupid people who shoot their own feet by selling items 20 or 30% lower than what they should be, there are always smart and opportunistic players who will say thank you very much and make big huge profits off the stupid ones in the longer one. It is a zero sum game (well almost, minus the 2% tax gp sink), and we are heading toward random walk sooner than later. :)

They're literally buying shit for 600gp less than market price and nobody is buying higher than that so then explain to me how everything is crashing in the game it doesn't make any sense like there are no actual low level ways to earn bonds anymore so just screw everyone who wants to use different methods other than bossing to earn money? How is that fair I'm legit running 12 accounts 12 hours or more a day and I'm struggling oh and I'm recording on OBS before you say I'm a stupid bot is this some kind of joke? Y'all really can't see what's going on here?

Whatever I don't really care anymore I find it stupid that you shame players and kill their money making methods when they're putting in 13x the work of a regular player and still struggling more like if I'm waiting on profit then I'm basically wasting membership then it becomes unprofitable at 12 hours a day doing what I'm doing I don't get how the market place is in shambles and making bonds the only viable way of earning GP without struggle is the worst thing Jagex could have done, now the game feels like a job or a second wife that takes all your money except you get virtually nothing in return just like most games, it's insane how people defend this kind arch of gaming over actual fun it honestly baffles me like what's their IQ honest to God I need test results and I need them NOW

If I want to buy an item, and someone is selling it for 20-30% under mid I'd be an idiot if I said "no, I insist on paying you GE mid price".

It should be obvious why players are buying items for under mid. It's because they can, and because they're saving gp.

The reason why the price of bonds goes up? It's because there are more people wanting to buy them than there are people wanting to sell them. There are times when the opposite happens (more sellers than buyers) and the price of bonds goes down.

At this time of year, when a lot of premier memberships are expiring and there's a promotion where a bond will get double wrapping paper drops? Of course the demand for bonds is going to go up, thus pushing the price up.

So why don't you buy the items for 590GP below market price now, and sell the items for over market price when prices go up again?

Almost every single item - particularly skilling supplies - go up and down in price over time. If you are struggling to sell at mid price now, that means those items are currently on a downward trend. In one or two months time, they will likely start to see an upward trend.

Check out the Grand Exchange database on the RS website to see the behaviour of the items you are trying to trade, then you will get a better understanding on how the RS economy works.

Remember arrowshafts were 15 gp each and ashes were 586 each not long ago? Some low IQ players might have sold them for 20-30% even lower, i.e 12 gp and 400 gp each respectively. But, in a 100% player driven RS3 economy without the dirty black box manipulation of the Invisible Hand, high IQ players took advantages of logics and real sentiments of the markets and bought low... now with arrowshafts closing in 40 gp each and ashes at over 1.2k each, they are sitting pretty and laughing at the losers.

Of course, arrowshafts, ashes and such are just classic F2P items.

I don't get why your preferred method of making gp in this game is via flipping. The game is made to be played with the highest gp earned via killing stuff (pvm) and a much smaller sum earned via skilling.

I may argue that there could be some equilibrium between pvm & skilling money making, however that ain't gonna happen. Sorry to burst your bubble.
