The maintenance hasn't happened yet. It's due at 08:00 game time and will last up to 2.5 hours.

I was having the same thing happen to me i did everything. I even restored my laptop to factory reset. And it still didn't work after i put everything back on. Now at 4:24am i still can't log on. So i don't know what to do any help. :( :( :( :(

The earlier issue was a problem with internet services and is most likely getting fixed by the current maintenance downtime

As of this post, the maintenance for the game will last another 1 hr and 10 minutes.

Yesterday around midnight, before 24:00, a login issue did happen making it unable to login, I thought the forums, as I was playing in RuneScape. I couldn'tunderstand the issue as many people were logged in and no forum threads were posted about a login issue.
So I logged out from RuneScape to discover that logging back in wasn't possible anymore, used other ways/accounts to discover the same issue. After many attempts, with different devices it already was passed midnight.
I checked, no message in '
Jagex's Support Centre
' - nothing on the website - no messages/threads in The RuneScape Official Forums, only that message about said '
Service status
' mentioned as above link.

Problem was, there was mentioned a PST-time and a BST-time and not the time matching/ coming close to my european time (Netherlands) so I roughly guessed it was ongoing or close to coming into play.
Maybe I wasn't brilliant enough doing the right math so I gave up and went to sleep.

In the morning, the first thing I did was check my mobile logging in and everything worked, checked my account and where my progress ended the day/night before and everything was OK.
I checked The RuneScape Official Forums and logging in was good/spot on so I made a few posts here and there, everything functioning in perfect order. All fixed.
The rest of the day I had different things to do so I couldn't respond anymore until now.

The link above is removed/not working anymore so that ended too.

So basicly after posted my posts, alike post 1 on page 2, I had no issues no problems all functioning OK. That's why I left a few messages in some of the forums.

I have seen it happen more than once, you people messaging about a problem, I do not know what your source is but my source is my experience, I use several devices to check said issue and see what is coming up.

something is broken
... and that's it. For the rest of The RuneScape Community it is a lot of guessing and if it is solved or not, for you, nobody will ever hear again.

In the past weeks there have been more issues about logging in but so far a lot of players are kept totally in the dark not being a truly good development form you people or Jagex/JMods.

Commenting on my posts, I do not have problems with that but after that leaving people in the dark not knowing how it develops is truly bad.
