Ethereal Components are actually very easy to obtain.
My tip is to travel to these Magic stores daily, and buy up each of these items:

The prices are super cheap so it won't cost you much per component you obtain. However, the junk rate is high, so you can't expect to get Ethereal Components each time. The idea behind this is to disassemble en masse, with components coming in periodically over time.
This is how I amassed over 3k Ethereal Components when buying stock from these shops for other components.
