Black Phat Exact Drop Rate?

Is the black partyhat's drop rate 1/2000 with all 7 nice list entries and decreases by 1000 for every nice list entry you're missing? For example 7 nice list entries gives you 1/2000 drop rate for black partyhat. 6 nice list entries gives you 1/3000 drop rate for black partyhat and so on. Is this the drop rate for black phat or do we have any official confirmation of the exact drop rate of the black phat? Or do we have to wait until january 8 to find out the drop rate of black partyhat when jagex gets back to the office? Wiki article for black santa is 1/2000 and wiki doesn't currently say black phat's drop rate. Unless we were told on discord or twitter or something? I'm not asking about black phat's price, I'm asking about its exact drop rate.

Really? I haven't missed a single day for my weekly nice list entries. I thought it was 7 nice list entries a week to get maximum chance at black phat? My letter in the shop goes locked when I cap on saturday when i get 7 nice list entries so doesn't that mean 7 is the cap per week?

i think if you miss some days of letters, you can rebuy them from the shop. then that will increase it from 7 to 8+.

but overall the amount of nice entries will be the same overall at end of of event if none are missed

so to get 8+ youll have to have 6 or under week(s) before

Another thing if you check the Christmas prizes , it says locked. There’s no way to exceed them unless you missed them as Tenebri said.

Does saving up all your letters to the last week increase your chances ? I don’t know.

I doubt the drop rate is 1/2000. It is probably far, far lower than that.

Each player has 4 chances to get a Black Partyhat in this event. If the chance is one out of 500 players will have win a Black Partyhat, it won't be rare at all.

I didn't see many players winning Black Partyhats from in game broadcast messages, plus the price of Black Partyhats is already very high in GE and has a long way to catch up to the actual trading price. It doesn't remotely looks like a 1/2000 odds for Black Partyhat.
