Why did the premier membership 2024 have to rise 20% this year? $94.99 last year was affordable. And yes I know it's not called premier club any more. Just had that as the title to fit.

At this rate if premier membership's cost is increased by 20% (Canadian dollars) every year next year's premier membership cost will be $136.78. 2025's premier membership cost will be $164.14. 2026's premier membership will be $196.97 which is almost as much as 20 bonds costs on steam.

Most people's wage are barely enough to afford expenses let alone spare money for games. Can we decrease next year's premier membership cost by 10% instead of raising it 20% again?

It's fast becoming unaffordable to be a premier member every year. The newspost where they said we can get premier rewards without needing to switch to a 12 month membership is laughable.

It doesn't solve the issue of not wanting to transfer extra membership to another account just to be allowed to get premier memberships because we have over the 2.5y limit.

I'm certainly not going to pay for a premier addon when the sole reason I get premier memberships is for the 150k loyalty which isn't included in the addon bundles
(75k for 6mo is useless).

I'm understanding why some players let their membership lapse. Because of constant premier membership price increases.

And don't move this to rants it's not a rant it's about a general issue. A general issue that affects plenty of people.

Where did you find the 20% price increase?

They seem to be the same price from the last update as well as a year ago:

I hope the "20% price increase" in Premier Club price is not true, as extremely likely the only reason for such an increase would be a corresponding 20% increase in regular membership price, which will take the current $12.5/month to $15/month.

A: The Premier Rewards are tied to having an active Premier status on your account. If you purchase one of the Premier Add On bundles, you will be able to use all of its features during the time it is active. Once your Premier Status has ended, you won't be able to access the rewards - including using the costume and pet - until you have Premier status again.

I suppose its saying if we dont keep premier we loose the cosmetics we unlocked during the years we did have it.. My understanding from my post in community led account help this is first year they are doing this.

So, now they are gonna force us to keep premier, just to use the cosmetics we already paid for.

Very very upsetting. The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

CAD $94.99 was the price two years ago.
This last year it has been CAD $113.99

It should be the same price this year as there have been no price rises announced and Premier Membership is now in the "recurring" group of memberships i.e. more stable price wise.

The old Premier Club price used to jump around a bit but it was a one-off purchase each year so there was no imperative to hold the price still.

I'm going off the wiki and it says premier was $94.99 last year and this year is the $113.99. So yes, the price did increase. When I said premier 2024 I meant to say 2023, I thought it was for the advance year.
