Because of EoC there's plenty of dead content like getting a fighter torso and pvp in the wilderness and even items. This would be overturned by removing EoC and adding account builds because everything should be used in this game.

lol removing eoc. definitely not. the game has evolved with eoc for over 10 years now.

dead content isnt because of eoc. its because this is a 20 year old game thats been constantly updated. dead content will happen with new content being released.

but removing eoc now would be even worse than when they actually introduced it.

The EOC is here to stay, and Jagex has already said it is not possible to remove it. After nearly 11 years, it is an integral part of the game.

If you have actual suggestions for improvements or changes to the EOC that you'd like to see (other than 'remove it') please feel free to make those suggestions, in the Existing Game Content Forum .

Jagex's position statement from over 10 years ago applies even more so today:

It is not possible for us to switch off or roll back EoC, even if we wanted to (which we don't). And while it's not to everyone's tastes, the new combat system and the re-balanced gear has been part of the fabric of the game for over a year, with the economy and many game updates all bound into it.
