If you are hacked like I was and they got your account banned like they did to me then they try to appeal it and fail which they also did to me you are finished and nobody will help you. I had a 16 character password with numbers mixed in...I had authenticator...I had an email that was used only for my account and nothing else yet still got hacked.
I was hacked (well banned I don't know when I was hacked) in September 2022 but didn't know I was until I went on in February 2023, I was taking a break and I come back to being banned with 0 support from a game I have played (and paid for) for 15 years and I am told by other victims of jagex none existent customer support (because there is no way to talk to jagex and even on reddit ect they stop people like me from having a voice by putting ban appeals against the rules to protect the game knowing many people are hacked and banned for things out of their control) you only get 1 chance to appeal and the hacker ALWAYS messes it up to be nasty and what do jagex do? always use the old classic "this is why you need a strong password, email only for osrs, and authenticator" BUT WE HAVE ALL THOSE THINGS AND GET HACKED ANYWAY! why make it impossible to get your account back or even to talk to a human at jagex who in 5 minutes could check ip's or something and see we were hacked didn't cheat and reactivate our accounts?...I love this game but absolutely not going to rebuild by doing every quest again, all pets I had (mainly corp pet that took months to get), all 99s I had, maxed house ect it is years of work and so bad of a company to simply not care.
