Tunnel vision Zamorak grinding won't be this profitable forever. When people are distracted by DXP, keep hustling. Croesus, Vorago, Zamorak 500%. Then when the 1% tax hits, you can sit back as you make money without playing.

- Made changes to the Zamorak, Lord of Chaos rare drop table to incentivize pushing higher enrages:
- Rare chance now increases further with boss enrage
- Bow chance now increases with boss enrage

(My advice is to do 99% to build up loot potential, then switch to duo 400%. Staying power is still important.)

It has been 50 days since Zamorak released.

Congratulations to Strawberries . Sassy nex . xMiley on pushing to 5400% enrage. That is an average of over 100% progress every day.


There will be no updates for a while. I will be taking a 3 week theorycrafting break, before attempting Insane Final Boss on Fresh Start Worlds. Happy Bossing.

Zamorak Drop Rates are on the RS3 main page.

Congratulations to everyone who farmed 500%. You were doing it a very efficient way.

The most efficient way by far for the best money in RS3, is farming 0%, 50% or 2000%.

The new optimal strategy is to do 34 kills at 50% then switch to 500%.

Alternatively if you have 10+ chaos rerolls, you can do 25 kills at 50%, then use the reroll dies while killing 900%.

P U P name changed. Fun fact, Zamorak's death animation is 6 seconds. So this 50% kill took 108 seconds.

20 September Zamorak Update

Your bad luck mitigation modifier now increases at different speeds depending on your enrage% of the kill

100% - 1
500% - 2
1000% - 4
2000% - 8

The drop chance of a rare item used to be caped at a 1 in 20 chance with bad luck mitigation, if you are doing a higher enraged kill this cap is lowered further to 1 in 10 at 1000% and 1 in 5 at 2000%
