lvl 3 with dragon pickaxe

im a lvl 3 skiller been doing mining im 1 att 1 def but i can now wear a dragon pickaxe just seems weird to me thought i needed lvl60 att or def to wear? confused?plz help.

The attack level requirement to wield a pickaxe was removed from the game in 2016.
Pickaxes are no longer considered to be weapons. If you use one in combat, it is the same as fighting barehanded.

Yup! RS3 skillers (even pure one) can wield dragon pickaxes and such tools for a very long time.

It is not weird at all as skillers in RS3 are treated far more favorably the recent years than 15 years ago. How nice!
