What is the meaning behind the gradual change in sky color (affecting visual clarity on screen) to a hot pink /blinding white with a huge sun in the sky?
What does it time and why?
What happens eventually?

New content for sure. Maybe new skyboxes, Overworld Refresh, Xua-Tak among other new content. We just don't know what's new until the RS3 team is allowed to make them visible.

Look at the sky on the right side of the bottom picture. We are getting pink sky from Mod blckwitch's Gamejam project eventually.
