Hi being transgender and living my life this way now for over 3 years I like the pride events personally :)

I do realise in reality of the world and life that it is not everyone's cup of tea so to say and regardless of what society feels we should or should not be or expect it will always be this way as we are human beings and all like various things and dislike stuff to.

I respect others views whether they are accepting or not accepting of people like me as I feel they have a right to there opinion, on the basis that they have that but do not make someone's life hell or misery thru it.

Any way pride is all about being inclusive and I was very disappointed that Jagex doing this really failed this year, to be inclusive, they done pride stuff for old school with some cool rewards, that I would like to get my hands on and add to my rs3 account character :) however you can not do it on rs3 which I have played and been a member for almost 20 years,

I would like to know why it was not implemented right across the rs set up ?

I know many play runscape to get away from all these types of issues of the world and many are not happy any pride thing is done and that is up to them.

Far far away ...
in the beginning
... Jagex/JMods were running the empire saying
to whatever is private, let's keep it private
and do not mention things to others that are private.

It is great that you feel happy ... good for you ... but that doesn't mean that you'll need an event to show your happyness.

I feel happy but Jagex/JMods aren't obligated to host an event because of my happyness, the way how I feel and live.

INTRODUCTION

Jagex is committed to protecting your information responsibly and using appropriate technical, administrative, and physical security measures.
This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you:

This can be found in '

Hosting events, that 'specificly expose your privacy' and strengthen that with 'specific items/overrides' so it won't get unnoticed, is something that should stop because Jagex/JMods are breaking their own rules/privacy policy.

Hosting pride events does not expose any privacy issues. Thats bizare claim

Stop trying to derail a positive thread into something negative just because you disagree with it.

I do have lots of questions but i wont ask as that would be feeding the derailment

Talking about a '
players privacy
', mentioning it by referring to '
Jagex's Privacy Policy
', isn't any sort of derailment but a serious matter that has been pushed in the shadows for too long, always have been an issue, looking at 'bullying/personal attacks' throughout the Worlds of RuneScape and Jagex's platforms of communication.

'
Jagex's Privacy Policy
' is as common as mentioning the '
Rules of RuneScape
' and/or '
Terms & Conditions
' which also are here for the protection of players.

I feel like post like this is more of a rage bait. But here goes.
Creating content and unlocking that behind some sort of event is something they do constantly. But taking a political thing and forcing that on your players to get something for your account. Is now slowly forcing those players to engage in politics and backing things that goes against their belives.

A majority of people just wants to be happy and live a happy life. Even wishing that upon their fellow humans. Even trolls and ragebaiters sometimes.

I agree with this. In fact, I fit into the LGBTQ community myself (But refuse to associate with them for various reasons I can't get into here) and the whole event comes off as both unnecessary and pandering through my eyes. I don't need an event to feel included, because I am my own representation in the game.
