Jagex are currently aware of some network issues that are causing very high ping on UK/EU worlds for some players.

So if you are HCIM it may be wise not to engage in any risky combat on UK/EU servers until this is sorted.

PSA: Seemingly Jagex couldn't reproduce the high ping as OP of Reddit post OP of this thread stated. For those experiencing high ping, Mod Doom requested your RSN in caes they need to investigage.

It's an ongoing problem (though not fault of Jagex) for some UK/EU players, depending on ISP.

The team have had a little investigation (thank you for getting in touch) and we've found out that it's something to do with our provider for those servers, and how your ISP connects to those.

We've raised a ticket to our server provider, about your ISP and the issues there, but we'd also advise you to reach out to your ISP as well. Seems like there may be an outage somewhere in the chain between the server and your ISP which may be causing the impact to performance, so we've flagged it to them and hopefully they can get it fixed overnight for you!

For those who are affected by how their ISP are connected to Jagex's service, Mod Doom's advise is to reach out to their ISP.
