This is a thread for passing on any articles you find about Necromancy in the press - the reviews from gaming sites, the news announcements in magazines and suchlike.
Let's keep up with the buzz from outside our bubble!
~~~~ Just another victim of the ambient morality ~~~~
RS3 Necromancy is successfully launched with significant number of players engaging now - 51.5k concurrent players already!
Yet, Jagex has still been mostly quietly on the news front regarding this game changing RS3 update. So far in the news we have seen articles from a couple of major gaming news outlets, but not much:
Not much news and very little buzz outside, but big surge in actual RS3 in game engagement number really bodes well for Jagex. Let's see if Jagex spread the RS3 Necromancy words out more later. Are the likes of Mods MIC, Jack or Mark et al going out to the media to spread the fantasy words about this little patch they called Necromancy later like they used to do in the past.
RS3 and its Necromancy update are featured in the September edition of PC Gamer magazine, along side Baldur Gate III:
"The awesome features in this issue don't stop there, either, with our Baldur's Gate III cover feature joined by a fantastic feature on RuneScape. The MMORPG is over 22 years old today in 2023 and, with over 300 million accounts created since its launch in 2001, it is one of the most successful and beloved in the industry. As PC Gamer learned when traveling to its developer Jagex's headquarters in Cambridge, England, now is the perfect time to jump into the free-to-play game, too, as it has its brand new Necromancy expansion arriving that's perfectly tailored to new and experienced players alike."
