lets stop with the negative posts, and let this ship sink with positivity.

whats your favorite memory that stands out to you when you think of forums?

for me it was when they started doing forum spotlight, and chose my thread not once but twice. it was such a shock to read my name on the home page, i was not expecting it at all. especially as it was the first forum spotlight

i guess this does show they did want to keep the forums back in 2020 and tried to push more people to come over.

Wee, it's just like the good ol' days!

New posts come up, immediate replies deriding the OP, and no doubt a bitter disagreement will ensue!


I have been active on these forums for the best part of 20 years, and with that comes a lot of memories. I suppose my proudest moment was when I was recruited into "The Suggestion Team" as an original member (this reminds me, I should head over to that old clan thread if it still exists while I still can!). This was back well before the official clan system was set up, so we all contacted each other on these very forums and helped each other, as well as others, on suggestions to improve the game.


I wonder if I'll ever get a "favourite memory" from one of these off-site "forums". RSOF does hold a special place for me, I don't know if I'll ever get the same elsewhere.

Why bother with a thread about "memories" which nobody will be able to ever read?

These following days should be fully focused on trying to save forums "ok, probably for no reason" but this "ship" should be sunk with a fight, not with the world pushing its buoyant head full of life under water in the hope of a quick drowning =(

its not about people reading them. its about the people wanting to put something positive here. for many people the forums as a cole said, holds a special place for them, and for the many people here now shitting all over it, they once also had that. even if you have only come to forums today, there is still going to be a favorite moment

this is just a place to share it, doesnt matter not many people will read it. its not for anyone else.

I love how OP is trying to push for positivity when in the past they would constantly write negative comments in black text on random forums threads to spread hate and circumvent the rules. Against Raffle Rigging since 2015

well, my up-to-the-minute favorite is scanning the list of "General" threads, and seeing one titled "Try locking my threads now"...with a lock next to it.

I will miss this place.

Ok mate, sorry, i get what you are saying, i really do and i also get the fact of no matter how much people moan about this, it is still gonna happen but forgive me for refusing to allow this to become something which Jagex force us to have to endure "even tho it is exactly that"

I prefer to keep my memories within my head and certainly not in a forum which has been basically stolen from us =(
