RS3 rewards you with a dopamine boost regularly - for getting levels, completing quests, killing bosses, completing tasks etc. In that sense it's one of the most rewarding games out there.

Definitely not, as RS3 is at least 100% certainly more rewarding than RSC and OSRS.

Not just content-wise like far more quests and 22 years of content comparing to 5 years from RSC and 10 years from OSRS, but also all kinds of cosmetics. We are also getting fresh content instead of recycling old events and removed ones as major updates in RS3 where many other games don't. We don't see many old games with not just new combat mechanics but even a brand new combat style. We get a new skill like every 3 years in RS3 too.

We also get fast more xp and character progression from RSC, and I got all my Premier Club benefits free from RS3, at least 10 times faster than from OSRS.

"Most unrewarding" games got to be games like RSC - crazy grindfest, no updates (not even recycled content), required a membership but have no way to get free membership.

How does concurrent player count have anything to do with a game being rewarding or not?

Isn't it more rewarding in RS3 when there are no bots to take away my resources than getting nothing because bots take everything in other games?

Yes, most people do not take into consideration with what Dilbert said.

OSRS has many many more bots. So actual player count is not actual players. The richest person is not who has the most. It is who Needs the least.

OSRS has many many more bots. So actual player count is not actual players.

Player count means nothing, especially when it comes to rewards. The more players for the same rewards means I will get less rewards. Now that when vast majority of those "players" are bots who always get my rewards before I can react with my puny but normal human reflex, then it is just absolutely not rewarding.
