Clan skill plots being empty?

Can someone explain to me if I am missing something or if this is just the way it is:
Our clan recently got a tier 7 citadel... The issue is that we now have 12 skill plots and only seem to have a use for 7 of these plots... Why are there 5 extra unused skill plots? Unless I am missing something and I would love for that to be pointed out to me. Thank you!

The empty spaces are just there for you to customize your Citadel to arrange the skill plots how you would like.

Unfortunately, there aren't anymore skill plots to add, and there are no plans to release more due to the fact that every clan's Citadel would need to be reset to Tier 1 in order to add new ones, unless the coding for Citadels is completely rewritten.

I had been wondering this very thing and was happy to find that the question had been answered. ^_^

It is unfortunate that we would have to go back to level one just to add more wanted skill plots, but I totally can understand. I'll let my clan members about this.

I guess that answers a similar question I had, but I'm sure if they really wanted to Jagex could save the data somewhere and go in and reinstate the plots the way they were. I put something on the suggestions forum about increased plots and so far people really seem to like the idea. I just hope jagex finds something...
