Unable to enter Clan Citadel

Occasionally I get an issue where I try to enter my clan's citadel but cannot.

I get the message:

'Unable to log in to clan. (Clan was logged in on a different world.)'

I have tried hopping worlds and trying again, but I still can't enter.

It has happened to a few other clan members.

I can't seem to hop on another clan member as it says 'you can't switch to that world.'

I tried entering whilst I was both in and out of the clan chat but neither seemed to work.


I've noticed that when this happens, other people are in the citadel on a different instance world than it sends me to. For instance, my clanmate would be in 178 and it'd try to send me to 177 or 179.

Like maybe the main citadel despawns without anyone there if everyone is in the battlefield.
That's an interesting thought, but I'm not sure how likely that is.

You submit a bug report about the issue, and make sure you include your clan's name in the report. ~ Sicariu

We often have rank meetings in the citadel meeting tent, and this will put us all in a different instance to anyone else entering the citadel. However it doesn't stop them entering the citadel, and they are able to enter the meeting tent and the instance with us without issue.

I guess it could work in a similar way with the battlefield. but the situation haas never stopped anyone entering the citadel itself.

Have you ever had issues entering your clan's citadel before? Are any of your fellow clan members experiencing the same (or similar) issue? Do you get any messages in your chat box as feedback for not being able to enter?

Citadels can be buggy to enter sometimes, so you may need to try to enter while on a different world or wait to try entering again later. However, it is also possible that either you or your rank doesn't have permissions enabled to visit the Citadel, but I'm not sure exactly how that works, and it is unlikely to be your issue.

I would definitely open a new thread for your issue, as it doesn't seem to be the same root problem as the original post.

I did pop into your clan chat and saw quite a few people on, though most were on F2P worlds.
I see your citadel is only tier 1, so it may well be that your citadel may not have met the minimum visitor count the previous week (totally understandable with the holidays this past week). You might need to have 5 different people try to enter again before anyone can actually get in to work up there.

Open a new thread and post as much information as you can, including any game messages you see when you attempt to enter the Citadel.
