Lost my rank as deputy owner??

Okay, I started my clan with another person, and I was the deputy owner. I logged in today, only to find that the owner of the clan is someone who is not the original founder, and I've been deranked to overseer. How is this even possible that me as the cofounder is deranked?? Is there anything jagex can do about this??

All ranks can be changed by the Clan Owner (who can even demote him/herself), and anyone Admin+ can change the ranks of everyone who is a lower rank than themselves.

The only possible way that you could have been demoted as a Deputy, would be for your Clan Owner to manually demote you, so I would suggest asking them why your rank was changed.

And no, Jagex will not change ranks of players in clans, unless it is a Clan Owner who has not logged in for over one year, but this is not that type of situation. ~ Sicariu

To add to what Sicariu has said, being a co-founder means nothing once the clan has been created. Unfortunately, from that moment on you are deputy owner - or what ever rank the owner sees fit to give you.
