Hi there Torva,

The only threads you can link on your vexillum are those on your clan forum. You cannot add a link to this thread, for example.

Therefore, to add a link to your vexillum:

1 – Go to your clan page forum [log into the RS website, then go to Community > Clans, the click on Forums to the left of your clan banner].

2 – View the thread you would like to make a link to.

3 – Copy the Thread ID, found at the top right corner of the thread.

4 – In-game, click on the clan chat tab. [the box with the 3 yellow men near your friend’s list tab*

5 – At the bottom of the clan chat window, click on the ‘Clan Settings’ button.

6 * In the window that opens, click on ‘Clan Settings’ again [found at the top in the centre]

7 – Click Edit Thread ID and paste in the Thread ID to the thread you wanted.


Note 1: If you would like to allow player who are not in your clan to see the thread, make sure to make it public. You can find the option to make the thread public at the top of the thread.
Note 2: You must be in clan chat to be able to edit the Thread ID on the vexillum.

If you're trying to link your recruitment thread (this one: We Beat Skills Recruitment ) to your clan's vexillum in game, that's not possible to do.

If you're trying to link a thread on your clan page's forums to your vexillum, you need to get the 4 character thread id following the steps Kera explained above. If you have any threads posted on your clan page, they're set to private and only clan members can view them. Otherwise, I would be able to tell you what the thread id is by looking myself.

Ah, I think I see what you're trying to do. If it's what I'm thinking, I've done the same thing for my own clan.

The clan page's forums are very outdated and use different BBcodes than the main forums do. You'll want to include it as [qfc]288-289-62-65982169[/qfc] to link from there to your recruitment thread.

The thread id on your clan page is 7x6r, so that's what you'd use to link from your clan's vexillum to that thread.

If you want to link to your recruitment thread on the main forms from your clan page's forums, you'd need to post it exactly as: [qfc]288-289-62-65982169[/qfc]
