Clan Citadel kicks me to login

Hey everyone. Both my accounts in two different clans keep getting kicked to the login screen when trying to enter the clan citadels. I'm using windows with both the game launcher and the steam version. I tried on my desktop and laptop and even put a fresh install on a fresh install of windows. My clanmates say they are not having issues and this happened to me a few months ago and I reported the bug, it started working again then recently stopped working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a while since that has happened to me. When it used to happen sometimes trying again worked; sometimes "joining" a clan member who was already in the citadel, rather than jumping through the portal worked.

Hmm, interesting. I will note that I haven't had any problems with this, and after asking my clanmates, they haven't either. As this is affecting two accounts in two different clans, it sounds unlikely to be a clan management issue. I would, however, check and confirm to see if there's anything on the clan's end preventing access.

Furthermore, I would suggest trying a different starting world, to see if that works. Try both portals (Falador and Prifdinnas) to see if it's a problem with either. It sounds silly, but it's worth a try.

Have you noticed any error messages when your clients kick you out?

I think I figured it out. When I logged back in I was getting an error saying "Client token failure - please reload the page" that I hadn't recognized before.

Now I reloaded the darn client several times and even restarted steam. But not my latency buffer software that was still connected to the game. Once I closed that I had no issue getting to the citadel. My guess is that the client lease had surpassed the 6 hour limit and somehow it still let me login just not access the citadel. Not sure if this is the case or this could be a problem elsewhere but that seemed to work for me.

Thanks for the quick responses. Hopefully this helps anyone else with this issue.

EDIT: The latency software was installed on all computers by the way.
