CODE OF CONDUCT:
The material following is what we all should uphold, a code of conduct. This will be how Corruptive Powers members act and treat others not only within the union’s functions but also within all of Runescape. If you cannot abide by these rules then Corruptive Powers isn't for you. CP members may have not followed these rules in the past but now this is the standard for life amongst CP.
Corruptive Powers union members should have the uppermost respect for everyone until respect is lost for them. We should all treat others the way we would like to be treated thus showing everyone sincere respect. No one should criticize anyone for not having the best armour or weapons in a non-playful manner. Being in CP means that we are above childish jeers and don't give into stupid arguments or random attacks at people who have done nothing wrong.
We also must all honour thy brother, or treat each other (CP union members) with respect. There should be no reason to flame anyone without wrong doing but especially not another fellow CP member. We should not get angry over little things and try to be optimistic at all times, even when in doubt.
We shouldn't make fun of the manner of someone’s post, as we don't know fully of his or her situations in real life and in game. Don't criticize someone for having a spelling or grammar flaw because they could have a condition that causes them to be unable to function properly such as dyslexia. Also, none of us are perfect so if you put someone down because of their spelling or grammar then karma will probably work its magic on you.

The views of non cp leaders, members or friends are not welcome here and are damaging to our community. If you want to post here and be classed as a CP friend then please ask and we will add you to the friends list.

Everyone here at CP is only as strong as our weakest link. If we have a clan in our union that is not at our skill level for whatever the particular reason is we should try to aid them and help them become stronger. Don't flame them because they don't have as many active members as you do or whatever the case should be. This goes for clans outside of CP too. Remember you never know a clans true power until you see them in action.
When dealing with affairs that have some conflict in them we should all try to remember that this is a game after all and there is no reason to be mad to an extent where we would want to hurt another’s feelings. There is no such thing as a good flamer so please don't try to be. If someone has done us wrong we will tend to them with our smarts always think before you type. I would suggest previewing all of your posts before you post them so that you can see if it could potentially be hurtful to you or CP.
Never lose your cool playing Runescape, I know we all get a little bit frustrated at times but overall you should just remember that it is a game. I believe that if everyone in CP follows this code of conduct we will be the best union ever seen.

Before joining please be aware we are not like the other unions who will pussyfoot around small clans. We at CP have no issues with ANY clan but will protect our own family if the situations arise. We will expect clans to be able to support the goals and needs of this union as a warring group and should be able to supply members when required, this I hope will be classed as part of your family as much as your own clan and support will be needed at times.
In saying all of that we won't put any pressure on you if you don’t turn up for events, as we said above this is as much a group or a family who share the same thoughts to how Unions are run and we wont dictate how you should run your own clan. Your clan is your business and not CP’s but if you do need help there are other top leaders of other clans that will be willing to pass on some valuable advice.
We also require a level of clan including member total and age of clan limit. Too many clans start up and don’t compete in events and will hug onto these so called other Unions with their pitiful 5 members. We here want clans that can last the pace, if you’re in a small clan please go to someone else.
New CP requirements guidelines:
*Clans must be at least 3 months old
*Clan combat requirement must be at least 100+.
*Must have an active member list of at least 30.
*Must be able to pull 15+ people to wars and events
CP leaders hold the right to give other clans exceptions to the above if and when required.

A bit of CP history.
CP was made about a year ago when the Anti Union Sticky was removed, in the past I had tried to create a union that would stand up against power hungry people who control unions and used the clans for their own personal glory and fame.
With me making this union and Ironman naming it we could not keep the format that these other unions had. The idea of a union is just a more public Clan alliance list and should be controlled in the same way. There should not be one person in charge but every clan leader should have a say in how the union progresses and adapts. CP is now 1 year old and has fought against people CP think uses their authority in unions in the wrong way.
Clans in the RSB are easily lead astray by people they think can trust but these other union leader have another idea which does not include what they say they can do. Other union seem to be set on gaining as many members as possible just so they can say "look we have 2000+ people and 36 clan in my union", this is wrong. It does not matter if a union has 4 or 50 clans, what does matter is that the union is there for the clans and not for individual people trying to make a quick name for them.
I’m glad to say that CP from the start till now has not changed, we are still run purely by the clans and not one individual has the power over the other. I also think we have set a standard for other unions to follow.
As for your question "what is the job of an individual member of this union", I would ask you to read the front page of this thread and if you agree with what’s been said then we would like individuals and clans to join. As an individual you can help organise events, post ideas or just have fun, the choice is yours what you want to do. If you have an idea and it might affect the union in some way the clans vote.
The main thing we try and achieve is fun for all.

~ Corruptive Powers VS League Of Nations~
04/11/07
AME approached League of Nations (Lon) for some action and we agreed to war full out at fight pits, no mage allowed.
Both unions massed world 124 fight pits and suddenly we noticed 72 NBK opts massing, some of them with Ahrims on. Was pretty annoying because we had only a few rangers with Karils on and ancient magic owns Melee-barrows.
The fight started, we regrouped in a corner and put our mage protection on, a few NBK tried to rush us but we downed them in a few seconds. NBK tried to lure us to their corner but they failed and after about 10 minutes NBK had 0 members left.
We lost about 120 opts and started fighting LoN, Haggis Stv died to NBK so AME called a few fall ins and we piled the LoN members, many of them were spread so we did not have much trouble. LoN didn't pile much and that's why we won with so many opts left.
After killing every NBK and every LoN member we had 243 opts left. The pit monsters came and we started to die. Last man standing was a Level 114 TWL member,Ace Kill 22, he got 21k (!!) tokkul.
Second round every NBK cape switched which was pretty annoying, we won again and had 123 opts left. Kudos to Haggis Stv and Bombe10 for calling the FI's
Thanks for the clean fight LoN, good to see you guys did not cheat.
