The Descent (Unknown, circa 2006-2007): The first clan I ever joined. Before clans in Runescape I wandered the world with friends I made early on such as Mbdfar, Andy10189, Okami260, and 1kryptkeeper. Those names are so retro lmao. Anyway we were being recruited in Varrock once to join a clan called "The Black Knights" and even though we turned that guy down we decided it would be cool to join a clan. There weren't any clan chats yet and we were all recent members so we weren't super familiar with the forums. I searched the forums and settled on a newer clan called "The Descent" led by Krazi Nopi and Anubis91020 (t)(l);dr I was in the clan for like a year until clan chats came out and achieved bronze star, but the guy mass recruited a lot and it caused drama and a bunch of us split off to form our own clan.

*As an aside our clan was courted by King Aladdin to join The Champion Alliance and I was tasked with investigating them. My first look into the world of the RSB although I was largely ignorant of it and we didn't join. This investigation piqued my curiosity and is probably why I would one day join the RSB.

The Death Stalkers (2 weeks in July 2007): I remember this one's timeframe better because I was on vacation for 1 of the 2 weeks. I was one of the founders of this clan so I got gold star. The leader was an officer named Sharlo123, and we used his cc. Unfortunately he went inactive and when I came back from vacation we had a ton of unranked people in the cc. I messaged Anubis who had avoided leadership in the clan and convinced him to make a new clan named after his alt "Bound 2 Fate", a clan that would live for a ridiculously long time even after I left.

Bound 2 Fate (2007-2008): This clan was the most instrumental of my pre-RSB days. I was the primary leader along with Anubis and a couple of other people. Some early drama leftover from The Descent caused us to almost close in the early days, but once we moved past it the clan grew slowly but steadily for months. I learned more about the RSB through a union I joined called "United Federation of Alliances" which was a small, no named, inactive union. I really wanted to get B2F into warring and the ladder system. We had a few members join us from World Class Assassins (soon to be New Age Assassins) and offered to teach us how to war. Unfortunately Anubis did not want us to war and he was the true founder. I disliked him and in my 13 year old angst conspired to take over the clan and bring him down. I framed like two co-leaders loyal to him and worked with this guy in our allied clan named Slipstream56 (now Zaire) to take over B2F, but at the last moment a friend of mine named Wealerkong, who led Devious Minds, told me that a clan called "The Immortals" led by Humatiel was about to become "Immortal Fury" and needed clans to merge with. I took him up on this and spoke with Humatiel on ventrilo for a few days and then merged with IF.

Immortal Fury (2008-2010): Immortal Fury was my first warring clan and compared to B2F it was HUGE. I was a level 93 in full Veracs or something along those lines when I first joined and was immediately given the rank of recruiter in the "High Council" aka bronze star ranks. I have a lot of fond memories warring our rival clan Ancient Kings as well as bigger names like Existence led by Wonderman and Avenged9x, Immortal Retaliation led by Lazerboyz, Neitiznot and Jatizso POC led by Parasite2005, and Blood Heroes led by Drucula484 and Riot206. I did a lot of mass recruiting at the grand exchange and pest control basically pming people and telling them about our clan. IF itself was led by Humatiel and Tokes. Our warlords were Aeroarcher7 and Lurker0100. A rank I was close with who went on in the RSB was Your So Evil. Eventually Aero and Tokes got mad at Humatiel over something or another and split off from IF. This caused our long downturn over the summer of 2009. Eventually some ex-FoF joined and tried to turn it into a 100+ clan which I disagreed with and eventually quit over it. I rejoined to find Tokes back in power with control of our vent and offsite and cc, and he hacked it all and killed the clan. Humatiel quit the next day and shut down the RSB Variety Ladder.

On the RSB front I was eventually put in charge of the UFA union and turned it into an active, if small, union. We were allied to PKU where I met Jarobal and Hasimar. We also were allied with and warred The Liberty Alliance where I met Kizowitsu. I got to meet a lot of Rs*ians in #rsb_hangout through Huma like Tyyt6, Wo0tstati0n, Assasin1200, Aurorashines, Pow Jr01, Haxzell, Carc369, Robin H Pk1, Fallinchamps (lol) etc. He really tried to launch my RSB career and got me started on the right path by helping me behind the scenes with the union and making me a referee.

The Forsaken Legends (2010): Legion VI, a member of IF who I tried to reform the clan with before I quit, decided to remake IF with higher requirements and offered me a leadership post. Unfortunately we didn't get along well and I left after a week.

I remained clanless for a few months and closed down UFA to join The Dark Confederation led by FearlessRyan and Magicfinpro. I had befriended Magic some time before and we got along well so I brought a few UFA clans with me and achieved co-leader rank. At the time TDC was very active, but low leveled. We did have one of the best leadership teams consisting of FearlessRyan, Magicfinpro, Misty, Aurorashines, Rebelrbl, and myself. The old anti-union Corruptive Powers closed and we took in several of their clans, most notably Blood Vipers and Blood Heroes. Both clans had problems with the way TDC was run and I was kind of a voice for them which put me at odds with Magic and Misty at times. After The Resistance crashed the PKU-RoC war Ryan and Magic managed to get them to join TDC and our warring power grew considerably. I miffed a lot of the leadership by joining in on the drama with PKU and getting into huge flame wars with Aladdin, Black Joe23, and Jaro.

To make matters worse I joined a clan called "Age of Glory" led by xMatt24, Sasa, and Deadheadmike. The clan was full of trolls and rsbians and I fit right in flaming everything that moved in those days. This did not endear me to the leadership of TDC and kept me from being made a full leader in my own right. We eventually warred and barely defeated RoC and then warred PKU on all of their terms, which I disagreed with, and I then criticized the way Magic and Ryan carried out the war which made me fully estranged from the leadership even though TDC vs PKU was probably the best war I've ever been a part of. It had everything, a tense rivalry, close ending, tons of flaming. I temporarily left TDC, but this would not last long.

Unfortunately for Magic all of the leadership team was tired after the drama and quit. I was more or less all that was left, and a lot of the clans liked me, so Magic made me leader and went behind the scenes. He and I actually got along really well after that and TDC grew into a warring power defeating RoC, winning a multi-union war, crashing PKU, and defeating GODZ+TSD in clan wars (ostensibly an invincible duo). Greatest union ever, had more wars and events than pretty much any other union, 'nuff said. Jk don't skewer me CP fanatics.

Now back to clans:

Immortal Fury 2.0 (July-November 2010): A lot of IF was still active in the clan world and we decided to remake the clan. I would be in charge with Huma doing a lot of the behind the scenes work, and Guttdogg would be our warlord (he had been in GODZ). We spent the first month off the RSB just structuring the clan and getting everything in place. The lowers were weaker because several top clans all left/died. We came in and smashed our way to #1 pretty effortlessly and then moved on to 110+. We got several members from Runeblazers and Uprising which made us more of a higher league clan that could pull 40-50. Unfortunately the ladder was shrinking in late 2010 and we hit a ceiling after beating Blood Vipers, Midnight Inferno, and Oblivion, the next clans were EB, SMZ, and DE, clans we stood no chance of defeating without pulling like 70+. This, coupled with me being the only leader and doing too much, caused me to close the clan.

Eternal Brethren (2010-2011): I and a lot of IF joined EB and helped boost its pull. It was at the top when we first joined but went through a small slump when the warlord and some of our best warrers quit for GODZ/WF. This made Init Bosha the sole warlord, and really the only caller too. We had an intense and fun rivalry with Shawa Manz that led to several close and intense wars for rank 1 on various ladders. I started backup calling in order to fill a gap in our warring structure. I was pretty terrible at first, but Avenged9x, who was semi-active in the clan (I was in PMT), helped me with my technique and turned me into an average caller. I was rewarded for my work with a war council rank and I often did our declaration threads because Bosha was special and didn't want to deal with them. My knowledge of arcane ladder rules thanks to being a ref allowed me to **** over clans I didn't like, which was pretty fun. Eventually we achieved #1 on nearly every ladder and then Bosha went inactive for a month. Drama ensued and I was getting bored so I left.

Ruthless Crusaders (2011): This was a lower league clan with a strong mini-team. Myself and Dimes Gwalla were made warlords and the clan did pretty well for awhile. I didn't see eye to eye with one of the leaders, A1, and decided that I couldn't be annoyed with him and quit. One epic war I recall was a 2v2 with Fusion and RC against Tempest Knights and The British Legion. It was like 80v80 and I ended up calling for both clans. I nearly lost my voice that day due to the long war.

Blood Vipers (2011-2012): I had gotten along well with BV for years and many of my friends from EB were in there as well. The RSB was shrinking by the month, but the clans that were left were quite skilled so wars were intense. I never quite fit in with BV though, one of the few clans I was only a member in the entire time instead of a rank. I quit sometime in July 2012 due to EOC coming up and left the RSB for good.
