It's kind of long. But, it might be worth a read. haha
My memories of RSB are finally beginning to fade so I think it's about time I put them down. Not just for those whole are still around but, for myself as well so I don't lose them to time.
I started playing over 9 years ago. I was and still am an average player. When it came to RSB I lucked into my position. I still remember my first clan, "Da Mafia" which was led by Lvpersons. I didn't know it then but, in my opinion he became one of the greatest clan leaders RSB would see.
My memories are fuzzy but, I still remember the PK trip we went on and all of dying losing our precious rune armor. After respawning in Lumbridge our Co-Leader who's name is lost to me offered to craft nature runes to sell and replace our lost items if we mined the essence. We worked late into the night until almost everything was replaced.
This one act defined what a clan was to me. It wasn't about the warring, pking, politics. It was about working together to achieve a goal.
Eventually, I left Da Mafia. I'm not sure why I probably could have road on Lv's coattails for quite awhile. Yet, there was something wrong. I wanted to do more than just follow. There was simply something missing.
For a year or so I wandered. Not sure of what to do.
Eventually, I wound up joining The Emerald Knights. It was a newer clan, not at the top of the boards. It had potential. It had a solid leadership between Tucan Mann and Hasimar. I was there for a few a months before Hasimar left and promoted Twinklepawws and myself to our leadership positions.
Being a newer clan and not exactly a powerful one we opted to join into The Red Storm Union. We were never a politically active clan. Only enough so that we could have the occasional clan war. I never thought we would ever stand for anything.
