Anyone else have this issue? My clan name wasn't particularly offensive, but I suppose it was questionable. I don't have any mail in my inbox. It was changed to some random numbers.

Would I have been notified if it was changed by a moderator?

My first thought would have been that someone else in your clan changed it without telling you, but on investigation I see no one but you would have had the permissions required to do that.

As you said the name was questionable then it does sound like it was reported and changed because of that . It's never happened to me so I don't know if you would have received a message telling you, I would assume you should have - did you check your RS InBox? Either way you should be able to change the clan name with the Scribe at clan camp - but choose something that isn't offensive this time ;)

What Kera said is correct.

The only people who have permission to change a clan's name are the Clan Owner and Jmods. That being said, your clan's name had to have been reported by another player (or multiple players) as being offensive/inappropriate, the Jmods reviewing the report agreed with it, and your clan's name was changed.

So, you'll need to wait until the 28 day period between name changes is over to set a new one.

I'd imagine Jmods send an inbox message to Clan Owners after a clan name is changed, but I've never seen a mention of that anywhere, so I can't say for sure. ~ Sicariu

Uh, you do realize that 'Clue Clucks' clan is pronounced exactly like Klu Klux Klan , right?
I'm certain that's why the clan name was removed.

Your only option now is to wait out the remaining time and choose a more appropriate name for your clan. If your clan's name gets removed a second time, you may lose the privilege to change it and be stuck with a clan name similar to the one your clan has now, permanently.
So, keep that in mind when choosing a new one. ~ Sicariu

well "clue clucks" arguably sounds like klu klux...but my clan was not titled clan nor Klan...I stand by my position that it was only arguably offensive out of context and officially did not break any rules. Considering clue scrolls and chickens in the game I don't think it's a just removal.

I would argue against that.

The name is too similarly pronounced to be anything other, no matter how strongly you justify it otherwise. You also need to think about other peoples take on the name, not just your own.

If you really are so fond of clues, and chickens, there are other variations you could use that wont be offensive to others
