Clan invite didn't work

Maybe you guys can help. My husband created a clan, got the charter, and started inviting the four of us that were there. I received the invite and clicked accept in the popup. However, my acceptance did not go through and when he tried to send it again it just kept saying that he had already invited me. The other three invites went through just fine. We are new players on a fresh start world. I am so confused and can't find an answer anywhere. Now he can't start the clan because I didn't join. Any suggestions?

its been a hot minute since i started a clan so I don't really have any suggestions other than maybe he destroys the charter and starts over ?
