@heafy - Sadly due to an error in our systems, we would not be able to change the name, even if the request would meet the requirements

@axtdazoroark - The clan is still active, I suggest you ask the existing owner to change the name and then change your own clan swiftly after (based on the established contact with this user)
@maayuri - You're no longer in that clan (and or the name has already changed since)
@awuilion - The clan should have the name now
@cutejob - we can not process your request Community Manager! @JagexPoerkie

Hey all,

I will be closing this thread and we will not be offering the ability to request names of inactive clans anymore in the future.

The reasons for this are:
* This is a very time consuming process
* The toolset is not build for this kind of requests
* Within the process of changing name, many things can go wrong. making it a very dangerous thing to do (We can accidentally destroy clans with a single miss click)
* Due to the way our tools work we cannot do this for all clans and this makes it an unfair playing ground.

Our apologies for anyone who comes across this thread at a later date.
