Hey,

I own a Clan-Chat with a rather rare name and was wondering how to move it to an already existing Clan-Chat.

Does the name become available after changing, like display names do?

If so, how long does it take? 28 days?

Would really appreciate an answer if someone knows.

Hi,

Once a clan changes its name, the old name becomes available immediately. Be cautious and move quickly when swapping names between two clans. There is always a risk that someone will snipe it from you.

Clan names can be changed by talking to the Scribe at the Clan Camp south of Falador, and a clan can only change its name once every 28 days.
