Quick update regarding gear restrictions

Augmented Equipment
The Council's decision was to keep augmented equipment ON for the time being.

Since we cannot differentiate between perks from the equipment screen, the choice was between allowing all perks or disallowing all perks. For now, perks are not too overpowered and pretty easily accessible to most, and we'd like to avoid pushing warrers to buy two sets of weapons (one for restricted and one for unrestricted). We felt augmented equipment were within the bounds of the restricted ladder. If perks are changed so that it becomes much harder/expensive to attain ones that are relatively much more powerful, we will revise the restriction again.


Defenders
With regards to restrictions, defenders are regarded as shields and follow the same restrictions as them.

e.g. In the warbands-style ladder, defenders are capped at t70


Both updates have been added into the default rules post. -
