Can't join a clan

Hi, today when I was playing runescape I got a message that said *** is inviting you to join their clan. (name redacted for privacy). And I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out how to accept and could not, I tried clicking on the message as well as right-clicking "view ... invite". Is there some way that I haven't tried or is this some but or perhaps they choose to uninvite me.

How interesting, that is not an issue I've heard of before. I note the thread was made 2 days ago, have you managed to join a clan yet?

We've encountered this error before as well, i'm sure it has something to do with the dizzying amount of rs3 interface configuration options. It's a nightmare trying to explain to someone how to use, let alone trying to troubleshoot it for them.

Our solution was to have the recruit switch to the legacy interface mode in-order to accept the clan invite. This interface cannot be edited so you know it's not an interface setting problem. This setting is located in settings > gameplay tab > misc > legacy mode > Legacy interface mode Just a laid back gamer goat

Just to confirm, switching to legacy does not work.
