I'd love if there was an ability to search clans by world, as it would make it much easier for people who only wish to find a clan on their homeworld.

It would help if there was some sort of database which lists all of the clans per world, and sorts them from top to bottom (probably according to tier, number of members, total xp etc), and would encourage and highlight competition between clans based on a certain world.

Ideally, you'd have a list of worlds where you click on the world and a whole list of clans (which are automatically listed under that world after choosing it as a homeworld) appears. If a clan doesn't have a set world, they'd be listed under Any, along with those who have set worlds. Also, if a clan has multiple homeworlds, they'd have to choose their primary/main one, which they by default would be listed under.


Generally, the clan search engine is too rigid and needs an overhaul for more flexibility. One of the problems is, for example, if you are searching for a specific clan and type in the exact name, it doesn't appear at the top of the list and is instead sorted by creation date (I think?) which causes difficulty in finding, ironically, exactly what you had typed. Sometimes you may find it on page 11 or something like that. I believe the results should be sorted by the most relevance or resemblance to what you had entered.


If the clan search engine is remodeled with added advanced settings, you would be able to:

Filter clans by :

- World
- Type (keywords, i.e. Social, PvM etc)
- Colours (clans would have checkboxes to tick terms to associate their colours with, which the user would be presented with the option to select from and search for)
- Requirements

Sort by :

- Number of members
- Clan XP total
- Citadel tier
and more..

This would give the users a more flexible, friendly and custom clan-finding experience, providing them with a new dimension in clan searching.

I need a homeworld clan and I know there are at least 20 of them I've seen vexes of. I cannot find 1 single World 39 clan anywhere on the forums. I searched world 39 clans and got w31 and w69 clans, mkaay thats not helpful at all.

OMG!! Serouisly how does every clan on RS forums and even the alternate sites not post the home world first?!?!?!


I have to open the clan page or join the gcc thousands of times just to find out what thier home world is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Redonkculous!!! How long has this been going on? I've only been in 2 clans on my home world and I Do Not plan and changing home worlds to join another clan.

Thousands of clans on recruting forums and other websites, not a dang one of them posts the homeworld!!! Would take years to find one on my homeworld searching through those lists!
So now I have to sit and wait for somone to plant a vex which could take a very long time then join that gcc if I can to ask about rules or whatnot. Then wait again for somone else to plant another vex to check that clan out, rinse and repeat!!! Unorganized poppycock!!!

Sorry, Haven't found any clans with a W50 homeworld :(

I just saw this after I posted my frustration, thank you for the help Kera.


I am not sure those 2 clans are for me personally but I might check malicious out. I've seen at least 20 different home world 39 vexes out, some of those members are on my freinds list. I cant remember then names, I knwo 1 is Natrual born skillers but they are maxed 500 members, another is Phenox rising I think. The quest to find a new w39 clan begins :/
