Did you maybe change option that higher levels than you needs to be right clicked?

Some potential issues:
- What 33333... said - do you need to right click and select attack?
- Do you have any perks that may stop auto-retaliation/attacking (Cautious stops auto-retaliation.
- What are you trying to attack? Could it be a special instance where they aren't attackable?
- Are you in one click mode?


More information regarding EoC or Legacy combat styles, revolution etc. may help any staff looking into this if it is purely a game bug.
