10 Hours Bossing, No Shard

Hello there, I have spent 9 hours at the kbd plus about 1 hour at vindicta, still no golden party hat shard. I even use luck of the dwarves and have gone with friends to increase the kills per hour. Any advice?

Can confirm Loroc's distress, he barely has time to play due to work and family and I have been trying to help him when he is online. A few others have been running into the same problem even when they do as instructed. What has taken me only 4 hours is taking them 10+ hours which is not fair at all.

I've found Arch Glacor without mechanics to be a good source for the shard.
Takes me on average 180 kills for the shard, which is about 3-4 hours.
KBD can take a while to kill, and so I prefer Arch Glacor over KBD.

If you have gone that many hours dry without a shard, I would check to see if you haven't already received the shard by opening events interface (F5)! Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

Well I kill kbd 1 per minute on average. With another player that goes to 1 kill in 30 seconds. 9 hours means I’ve killed over 500 kbd’s plus about 30-40 vindictas inbetween. Maybe I’m just unlucky. And yes, I check the interface regularly

Similarly to Corder; a lot of people I know have got it from zero mechanics Arch-Glacor.

It did take me a fair while to get the bossing shard tbf, and I did it by accident more than anything as I wasn't camping bosses to get it, but I do know I did a significant number of elite dungeon runs before I received it.
