I completed the tutorial, took a break from RS and came back. I lamped arch to 70 but decided to train it. When I am excavating I am getting materials EG: at the everlight dig site currently I get gold runes, white marble etc but the blue bar above my players head never completes so I don't get damaged artefacts. I've spent many hours excavating and received 3 damaged artefacts but I can't remember exactly how I got them.

EDIT: its actually ok now. As a returning player I didn't know mattock and pickaxe are different. I upgraded my mattock and its all good now lol
