A glitch occurred when talking to Sigmund the Merchant during Hero’s Welcome. I believe it has something to do with what happened when I completed The Fremennik Trials.

I completed Fremennik Trials some time ago but something unusual happened when I finished the last trial. For me, the last trial was the battle with Koschei. When I defeated him, the quest completion screen immediately popped up without having to go back to Brundt. I assumed after that this was normal progression as it was the last trial. This was until I looked at the rewards and realized that I didn’t receive any of the exp lamps. I have no clue why this happened the way it did.
This glitch wasn’t really relevant until I needed to gather information for V’s ceremony as part of Hero’s Welcome. For some reason Sigmund the Merchant still refers to me as an outerlander (rude) and doesn’t give me any of the required information. I also can’t open his shop through talking with him for the same reason. He is stuck giving the same dialogue about his vote. However, I am able to open his shop by clicking the “trade” option as if I completed Fremennik Trials normally.
I can’t continue with Hero’s Welcome without talking to Sigmund. I don’t know exactly why he keeps repeating the same dialogue but I assume it has to do with how I completed Fremennik Trials. A solution would be really helpful.

Hello, I am unsure how to create my own ticket. So my apologies for posting here.
I am having issues with The Quest Fremennik trails, I am stuck on a specific part which is taking the beer keg from the bench in the long hall but every time I go to attempt and take it Manni The Reveller Says "Hey outer lander, I don't take kindly to people coming here and stealing my beer". I have already done the step where I use the low alcohol beer on the Keg, and also already challenged Reveller to a drinking contest and I have his vote, but the quest does not go on I cant do the next steps which are Sigmund's tasks. The quest Helper keeps referring me back to taking the Keg, I have tried talking to the people I need to talk to although nothing is happening and they don't give me the items to procced in the quest.

Perhaps creating a distraction will fix your issue Windfield. Do you have an item that can cause a ruckus. If so tucking it into a pipe nearby might help you.
