SLAYER POINTS QUICK GUIDE

Introduction

This guide aims to teach ways to farm slayer points, and is intended for mid - high level players. It's assumed that the player has maximum block/prefer slots available, and as a prerequisite has a couple hundred points to use on the optimised block/prefer list.

Point farming is commonly done during Slayer weekends where players may receive double points per task. This can be very beneficial to players looking to do additional reaper assignments, costing 250 slayer points for every new assignment. This can prove exceptionally useful for players looking to check off the reaper requirements for Comp(T).

Essentials of farming points
Each task normally gives a small amount of slayer points. Each 10th and 50th gives a boosted amount. This means you're going to be doing 1-9th's at Mazchna and 10th's at your highest level slayer master.

With the use of slayer masks like Mask of the Abyss, you can trigger 1 guranteed task of the corresponding monster every reset. This lets you do your 10th tasks in no time.

Wearing Slayer master cape, you get 20% chance to pick assignment.
Having relic Slayer Introspection active, you can choose between minimum or maximum amount to kill - this will greatly speed up point farming.

Recommendations
Gear
- Have power armor that does not degrade. Weapons can be augmented especially if using mobile perk to move around quicker. Using Noxious weapons and generally long range weapons is strongly recommended.
- Magic armor: Subjogation
- Ranged armor: Armadyl
- Melee armor: Bandos

Block/prefer list

This list has been thoroughly tested (~650 tasks) and I deem it the most suitable. I based the prefered tasks on afkable monsters.

Interesting guide, I'll definitely have to try this the next time I want to farm some Slayer points.

And, with the release of Archaeology, don't forget the

Slayer Introspection

relic power, which, while requiring 119 Archaeology, will allow you to choose the minimum amount of monsters to kill when requesting a new assignment. Something which can really speed up your task completion times.

Also, perhaps you could mention the Slayer master cape as well with its perk of giving you a 20% chance of choosing your next task. Just a thought.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

It's intended to wear the Slayer master cape - don't know why this detail is missing. I'm glad you pointed out!

Amazing relic, I never knew it existed! This will be featured both in thread and my own character soon!
