Necromancy Short Quest...

I am not able to finish the necromancy short quest. It displays blue as all others do but wont let me finish. I did not receive the quest point or any of the rewards for the quest. I have tried changing the location and lots of other stuff, still nothing. Can anyone please help without snide comments, death threats or telling me to kill myself?? And yes, that did happen. TIA

Necromancy has 9 quests so far which are you having trouble with? Some are relatively short so just saying a short quest doesn't narrow it down for me at least.

Blue quests means that they are open objectives. What's the quest journal currently say?

The quest name is - Necromancy! It can be found under the "short" quest list. If I click on the name of the quest (which is still showing the name in blue) it reads quest complete but , I did not receive any of the rewards for completing the quest. I would appreciate any help anyone can give.

sorry took so long to get back to this.

Blue means that you have toggle map hints active. If you right click the quest and toggle that off it should turn yellow indicating that it isn't completed.

When it turns green in the quest list it is marked as completed.

My quest journal still reads quest complete and is still in blue.

I have tried the posted suggestions but nothing. If I right click on the name of the quest, I don't get a toggle option. Only option it gives me is to view the journal or overview of said quest.

Thanks for the help so far. I'm open to any other suggestions.

Apart from the quest point which rewards didn't you receive? During the quest before you fight the two creatures you should have been given a death guard. After the fight they should have given you the skull lantern. What happens when you try to interact with the well of souls? Do you still have a talent point to use to activate conjure a skeletal warrior? Did you speak with everyone after the battle? Trying to eliminate possibilities as the game seems to believe you still have something undone?

If you're just missing the robes you can get those down by the docks near the bank and graveyard is where he set up shop...

It might be that you'll need to submit a bug report.

Odds are that you're not done even if it's marked as done to you. Cause it's behaving like you never fought the two enemies to earn xp with combat for necromancy which is why you never got the talent point to unlock summon skeletal warrior.

As to a reply. They don't typically direct reply to anyone but rather just fix the issue if it's on their end.
