I've made it to the bottom of the large chasm, and I dropped my fire orb, and I got logged out It won't let me reclaim the orb I've tried to leave out and come back down and still nothing. I need it to move on with the quest what can I do? Please someone help.

Okay I have the fire orb back but when I try to put it into the recessed block It tell me that nothing happened??
