Unable to get strange rocks

So I have been looking at guides and I cant seem to find the help anywere...
I literally cannot obtain strange rocks ?!
I go and speak to Barnabus hurma and Marius Giste and they just say "you have opted to not receive strange rocks" but I don't have any option to change this?
I have literally done every option and looked up loads of guides

PLEASE HELP!!!
