Have you tried just clicking on the Furnace with the ore in your inventory?
Make sure it's a Furnace and not a Forge

Here I am stuck, Tried hopping, tried Burthorpe furnace, tried "using" the silver ore on the furnace.....
The wiki does not seem to have an answer.
And I'm new, and the qualifications for Family Crest are ....out of reach for now.
If this is a new hidden update ? Then it was a mistake in my opinion. Used to play about a million years ago. Can't remember the correct name, let alone email etc.
So nostalgia playing newby. And having a great time!

I need to click on furnace: then in the >core ores< panel click on the silver ore.
that makes bars from ore in my inventory, and bars go to my inventory.
