Hi I've only been playing since October and am really enjoying the game, trying to take things slow and just experience all the new player content learning as I go. I had a couple questions though I'm hoping someone can answer.

1. Is this new anniversary quest and other anniversary quests things I can do at any time down the road or is it limited time content? I don't want to miss out if it isn't permanent.

2. As a new player is there any way I could get 8 pieces of a crown? I did sign up from r the Elite Club or whatever so I got a piece from that. It seems I could get one from talking to an NPC, completing the anniversary quest if I do it and then after that not sure what my options are. Even if I RNG luck into 4 pieces from the different skill leveling I think I'm still short 1. No way I could get the 30 or 300 million to get a piece. Any suggestions or is it just unlikely I could do it?

1) The "Once Upon a Time in Gielinor" quest is permanent content. It combines four mini-quests that have been released over the course of 2021.

2) Jagex haven't said that new players can't get the golden partyhat, and you've already got some shards so you should be okay. The odds on getting a shard are very low, but will improve the longer you spend training skills, doing clue scrolls or killing bosses. The Christmas Yak Track will be coming out next week, and reaching task 15 in that activity will also award a shard.

Shard 1: Talk to Wise Old Man NPC just outside the Grand Exchange
Shard 2: Solve Clue Scrolls and hope to get one
Shard 3: Kill bosses (I just AFKed at King Black Dragon for this)
Shard 4: One Upon A Time quest. This is a very easy quest, please do it.
Shard 5: Task 15 on the upcoming Yak Track. This should also be very easy, just wait for Yak Track to arrive.
Shard 6: Pay 30m for a shard. You can skip this easily. I am skipping this method too.
Shard 7: Premier Club. You mentioned you already got this.
Shard 8-11: Various skilling activities. Estimate around 3 hours or so per method. Just keep skilling.

You can click on any of the shards to check your progress as well.
