The Beginning

In the second age of man, the dark lands of Morytania claimed what we know today as Varrock. These lands were home to The Shadow Elves, an Elvin race named so because of their darkness of spirit caused by some greater magic. These were times of darkness and the Zamorakian Empire was strong. Amidst the chaos lay a small Zamorakian chapel of worship. The Chapel Of the Dark Arts or C.O.D.A. Visited by werewolves, vampires, sorcerers, knights and of course The Shadow Elves. Infact the chapel was maintained and protected by a shadow elf named Crucibelieus Grakkmund. Ever since the Dark Lord Necromancer Crucibelieus Grakkmund has recruited new followers and apprentices to carry on his legacy.............

The Loss of the Shadow Elves

As Time passed a feud between the Zamorakian Empire and the Holy Order of Saradomin forced the shadow elves and all the others who had succumbed to the darkness of morytania, back across the river Salve to the east of varrock. The river was purified and blessed by the Holy Order and Saradomin Himself, mortally forbidding the dark ones from ever crossing back into the land of man. Many escaped and survived the Holy Order, as did The Dark Lord Crucibelieus who formed a Grand High Council of Elders to help revive the chapel. Along with his chosen brethren Kyren1, Syra0, Fighter1500, Burner4, Cruno, Robbie2431 and Aznninja130. The clan thrived and all was well. The followers would don their uniforms and parade the town of Varrock in single file. But the Dark Lord had only just begun..............

The Reform

The Dark Lord Crucibelieus held conference in Varrock Palace with brethren Kyren1, King_Krumpet, LL_Cool_Jay, Fighter1500 and two High Council members joined them from The Shadow Elves, Elders Bronze_nite0 and niterider7, to reunite the two kind in an alliance of great history and diplomacy. Alliances firmly bound and active, loyal brethren became the stepping stones of the new beginning.

The Royal Guard of C.O.D.A

There was to be a royal guard unit of the chapel to ensure its protection. Crucibelieus with his old friend Wu_pantz began recruiting, making alliances on the way with clans such as the dragon fire clan and the blood fire clan. The black with gold trimmed armoured royal guard unit consisted of members such as Nitro555, Crucibelieus, Wu_pantz, Fighter1500, Cruno, Darksonic6, Mrguru, Enjoy-death0 and many more. The uniformed black (g) royal guard and the uniformed chaplains truly were a magnificent force and C.O.D.A truly was a glorious organisation (2003).............

The Downfall and Hibernation

So ''they'' say. Inactive members, unloyal members, money beggars and of course nooblets were as they are to any clan the downfall of this secret society. The elders of the high council were at a loss of what to do to strengthen the loyalties of the clans members. The spoils of war went to many members heads eventually the clan dissolved with half of the council missing and away too often and members coming and going. The Dark Lord Crucibelieus went into hiding with his black (g) unit of guards, keeping in contact with the loyal and the remaining High Council. He had decided it was time to filter the junk from the C.O.D.A organisation. Time passed (3 years) and apprentices were trained in the traditions of the chapel until eventually fate decided it was time. Time for the reform........

''Except C.O.D.A''

Prospering

The C.O.D.A Brotherhood prospered for a few years until two of the High Council Elders Left the realm of Gielinor to Explore new dimensions. Slowly one by one the remaining Elders entered their traditional deep sleep to one day return and redirect the Brotherhood. Many of the C.O.D.A Brethren Went into hybernation and sleeper mode awaiting the day the Elders returned.

The return of The Elders

As if ordained by some greater power, both Elder Crucibelieus now known as Cruce of High standing among the Gielinorian population, and favoured by the Jagexian Elder God Council, and Elder Sharpie331 now known as S H A R P I returned aswell as several long serving, High ranking Brethren. The time was right for a new age and so they began to reform our Brothers within a "Jagexian favoured" Clan known as
